9th REHVA World Congress Clima 2007 "WellBeing Indoors" - Helsinki, Finland, 10 -14 June 2007

The 9th REHVA World Congress Clima 2007 "WellBeing Indoors", the leading international scientific congress in the HVAC area, will be held in Helsinki, Finland, 10 -14 June 2007.

The Congress will offer scientists, industry, building owners, consultants, engineers, architects and policy-makers a platform for the exchange of scientific knowledge and technical solutions. The congress will cover all the aspects of HVAC technology including building automation in all types of buildings.

Four themes are focused on:

  • Healthy and productive indoor climate
  • Energy efficient heating and cooling systems
  • Sustainable energy use of buildings
  • Intelligent design and management of buildings


More than 450 papers have been accepted for presentation, and some 1000 participants have registered.

Clima Congresses are organized every three years.
The Clima2007 edition is organized on behalf of REHVA by their Finnish member FINVAC (Finnish Association of HVAC Societies), and the Finnish Association of Mechanical Building Services Industries (FAMBSI), representing HVAC manufacturers in co-operation with the Finnish Society of Indoor Air Quality and Climate (FiSIAQ) and Helsinki University of Technology.

In addition to the Clima 2007Congress, REHVA organize some 20 Technical Workshops with the support of the IEE programme.
Several of these workshops will be based at least in part on results of EC-supported projects where REHVA participate.
